Summer of 2021 - Part II

Just a few days until the 2nd special Shawano Folk Music Festival Pre-Festival event. Quite a mouthful, isn't it?

Join us Saturday, July 10 at Franklin Park in Shawano. It'll be part of an incredible day of arts programs in

Shawano. Zerbe and Becky Van Buren are joining forces for some music, with high notes and low notes joining in some spine-tingling harmonies. In between sets of music, the Box in the Wood Theatre Guild (Shawano's community theatre group) offers some short one-act plays and excerpts from longer works. Some of these are for children, starring local children, with stories about fairy tales and other things kids love.

And if that's not enough, the day begins with a walk through Shawano's Farmer's Market at Franklin Park. Then there's Dorothy Zerbe and Becky Van Buren, mixed up with theatrical offerings from the Box in the Wood. All at Franklin Park. At the same time, Main Street in Shawano will be filled with music, crafters, artists, and all sorts of fun things do at Shawano Fest (it's just half a block away from Franklin Park).

And if THAT's not enough, the Kids from Wisconsin will sing at the Franklin Park bandstand that evening. The concert begins at 7. If you've never seen the Kids, this is your chance.
